Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some frequently asked questions from those interested in participating:
Is this a race?
NO! It is simply a community bike ride through Wash park visiting some of our neighborhood watering holes.
I don’t have a “cruiser bike”. Can I still ride?
OF COURSE! All bikes of any kind are welcome!
I can’t make it there at Noon. Can I join up along the route?
YES! Check out our route map with times and catch up with us anytime. Look for Aden (he is 7 feet tall, you can’t miss him) and he will take your donation and give you your wristband and t-shirt.
Do I need a helmet?
All riders ride at their own risk. Some wear helmets and some don’t. It is up to you.
Is it safe?
Safety in numbers! We will be riding as a large group and be making sure we leave no stragglers. Our route is all neighborhood streets with minimal traffic.
This sounds like fun! Can I dress up?
OF COURSE! All riders are encouraged to be as creative as they wish!
Will I get a receipt for my donation?
YES! Love Hope Strength will provide receipts on site at registration.
This really sounds like a good time… What else can I do to help?
I’m glad you asked! We need help SPREADING THE WORD! This means emailing your friends, co-workers, softball team, church, and classmates. The bigger the group the more fun the ride. If you would like to help even further, please don’t hesitate to contact Aden to volunteer.
