Cruiser Rocks 4 Announced!!!

Announcement from Aden (Founder):
The snow has melted and the trees have leaves again, so you know what that means… CRUISER ROCKS is upon us! On July 11th, Cruiser Rocks Four will be pedaling through Wash Park and surrounding watering holes, raising money for the Love Hope Strength Foundation. If you have not ridden in one of our last Cruiser Rocks events, you are in for a real treat. We start by meeting at The Pub on Pearl (1101 S. Pearl St.) at 12:30pm. While there, each rider will receive their wristband and FREE T-shirt. Once everyone has been registered, the pedaling begins! Just follow the 7 foot guy with all the balloons tied to his bike (that’s me) and I will lead you through the neighborhood streets of Wash Park, bouncing from bar to bar where we will all get to drink $2 Coors and Coors Light at every single stop! The grand finale is our afterparty held at our starting point (Pub on Pearl).
Each event has been so much fun, that the word of mouth has built our numbers to over 100. I encourage all of you to invite your friends and register online to secure your t-shirt size. (Shirt availability for walk-ups may be limited). Our rides are a great opportunity to meet new friends and neighbors.
For some added fun, CRUISER ROCKS FOUR introduces the first CONNECT FOUR tournament during the ride. A single-elimination bracket will be generated before the ride begins. Each player will play one game against their opponent in an effort to make it to the next round at the next bar. All riders are encouraged to play. There will be a GRAND PRIZE (to be announced) as well as an AMAZING TROPHY rewarded to the Champion at the afterparty.
I encourage all of you to register online and tell your friends to register as well. The shirts are always awesome and you want to make sure that your size is reserved for you at the ride.

What a Ride!

Cruiser Rocks 3 was another great success! With almost 100 riders, we raised over $3,000, biked 12 miles, parked at 8 bars, made 2 passes through Wash Park, gave away sweet raffle prizes, met some new friends, and drank some fine Coors beer. Special thanks to all the participants, bar owners, sponsors and prize donors. Photos are posted here. Stay tuned for Cruiser Rocks 4 in June ‘09.
