Thanks to all of those who came out on October 3rd, we set a new participation record of 170 riders! We had great weather, great bikes, great bars, great volunteers, great t-shirts, great sponsors, great raffle prizes and great beer specials! All in all, we had a GREAT RIDE!
Thanks to Jeremy and New Belgium, Pub on Pearl, The Spot, Don’s, The Handlebar, Campus Lounge, and Lincoln’s Roadhouse, Kendall Smith, Serena Chase, Thom McDonald, Mandy Isbell, and all of our riders for a great time!!! We will see you in June 2010 for Cruiser Rocks 6!!! (Join our facebook group for notification!)

SEE YOU ON SATURDAY!!! Register from Noon to 1 at Pub On Pearl (1101 s. Pearl St.)!!!!!
This Saturday, October 3rd… Bring your bicycle to The Pub on Pearl (1101 S. Pearl St at I-25) and join a magnificent group of people as we pedal to 6 bars in the Washington Park neighborhood. This is our 5th ride in 3 years and the group keeps getting bigger and bigger because we have so much fun!
Want to join us? It is SO EASY!
Simply show up at the Pub on Pearl this Saturday between Noon and 1 pm. At that time you can register for the ride and get your super cool t-shirt. The ride starts at 1:30. Take a look at our route and see all the fun bars we will be hitting. We spend 45 minutes at each bar and enjoy $2 New Belgium beer as a member of the ride (that is CHEAP!). It is THAT EASY!!!
Need more encouragement?
Well, as a rider that registers online, you are automatically entered into a raffle drawing for a brand new New Belgium Cruiser Bike! (online registration ends Thursday, Oct 1 at 5 pm). You can buy additional raffle tickets for $5 to increase your odds. Other prizes include several cases of Blue Moon beer, and lots of other goodies…. Not to mention you will meet lots of fun people along the way, and enjoy some incredible fall weather as we ride under the changing leaves.
The cost per rider is $35 or if you register with a friend, the cost is $60 per pair.
All proceeds go to the Love Hope Strength Foundation. This is a great rock-n-roll Cancer Foundation that is based right here in Denver! Check them out!

Cruiser Week!!! Tell your friends!

Hello friends and fellow cruisers!
Greetings from the tall guy (Aden)
The leaves are changing in Wash Park and the sun is back out and staying out through the weekend so I am looking forward to a beautiful Fall ride on Saturday (Oct 3rd)! We have had many riders take advantage of the online registration which ensures their T-Shirt size will be reserved for them! I encourage all of you to do the same by Thursday at 5pm when online registration will be closed. But don’t forget that walk-ups are always welcome on Saturday at the Pub on Pearl from Noon to 1 pm!
I am providing an extra incentive for those who register online. Each online registration will receive an EXTRA raffle ticket ($5 value) to win the NEW BELGIUM CRUISER BIKE that we are giving away!!!! (A couples ticket earns you 2 raffle tickets!) You can register online HERE!
Since this is our countdown week, I am asking ALL participants to help spread the word and invite as many people as possible to join us. It only takes a few minutes to help and you can do it right there from your computer! I have provided several ways to do this, and here is the list:
FACEBOOK: If you are on facebook, go to this link. Under the map on the right hand side, click “Invite People to Come” and select all of your Denver friends to come out and join us! (Make sure to add a personal message too!)

EMAIL INVITE: Simply send a personal invite to your friends via email with this attachment!

Last minute reminders and helpful information:
- Deadline for online registration is Thursday Oct 1st at 5 pm. Registering online guarantees you will get your shirt size, and earns you a free raffle ticket!
- You may register in person on Saturday from Noon to 1 pm at The Pub on Pearl (our starting point) 1101. S Pearl St. Shirts are first come, first serve while they last.
- You may join us along the route if you would like to. Just look for me (Aden – tall dude with the megaphone) and I will set you up.
- NO BIKE? There are two neighborhood bike shops that rent bicycles for the day. Cherry Creek Bike Rack and Bicycle Doctor.
- $35 per rider or $60 per pair. (All donations go to Love Hope Strength and are tax deductible)
- Route and times are posted HERE. We will have bike leaders with balloons on their bikes as well as paper maps on day of ride.
- ALL BIKES ARE WELCOME! Even unicycles!
- Raffle prizes include a NEW BELGIUM CRUISER BIKE, 5 cases of Fat Tire, and several other goodies!
- $2 New Belgium beer at EVERY BAR!

Cruiser Rocks Four was our largest ride to date. The event just keeps getting bigger and bigger as word spreads about how much fun our (twice a year) ride is. With over 130 participants, we raised thousands of dollars for the Love Hope Strength Foundation on July 11th, 2009. CR4 also included a very competitive Connect Four tournament which concluded at our afterparty.
Special thanks to Jeremy Henn at Coors, Sharlene Douthit at Simply Good Photography, Kendall Smith and Lindsey Hammond (for administering the Connect 4 Tournament), Craig and the gang at Pub on Pearl (for hosting our kickoff and afterparty), Hanson’s, Stadium Inn, Reivers, Ogden St. South and the Handlebar (for hosting out hourly visits throughout the ride).
Good times and new friends were made on this awesome ride… I hope to see all of you in the fall for Cruiser Rocks 5, 2009.
